  3. Within two minutes of initiating WPS mode on your existing router, press and hold the WPS button on the Linksys Velop Atlas Max 6E node for three seconds. The LED light on the node will start blinking, indicating that it’s searching for a WPS connection.
  4. Once a successful connection is established, the LED light on the Linksys Velop Atlas Max 6E node will turn solid white. You can now place additional nodes throughout your home to extend WiFi coverage. 

Linksys Velop Atlas Max 6E Setup via Web-Based Method 

  1. Using an Ethernet cable, connect your computer to the Linksys Velop Atlas Max 6E node. Ensure your computer is set to obtain an IP address automatically.
  2. Enter “192.168.1.1” in the address bar. Press Enter.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to create a strong and secure password for your Linksys Velop Atlas Max 6E admin account.
  4. Select your internet connection type (DHCP, Static IP, PPPoE) and enter the necessary credentials provided by your internet service provider (ISP).
