Linksys Velop Atlas Max 6E Setup via WPS Method 

1. Connect the power adapter to the Linksys Velop Atlas Max 6E node and plug it into a power outlet. Wait for the node to fully boot up, indicated by a solid white LED light.
2. Locate the WPS button on your existing router or modem. Press and hold the WPS button for three seconds until a WPS indicator light begins to blink.
3. Within two minutes of initiating WPS mode on your existing router, press and hold the WPS button on the Linksys Velop Atlas Max 6E node for three seconds. The LED light on the node will start blinking, indicating that it’s searching for a WPS connection.
4. Once a successful connection is established, the LED light on the Linksys Velop Atlas Max 6E node will turn solid white. You can now place additional nodes throughout your home to extend WiFi coverage. 

Linksys Velop Atlas Max 6E Setup via Web-Based Method 

1. Using an Ethernet cable, connect your computer to the Linksys Velop Atlas Max 6E node. Ensure your computer is set to obtain an IP address automatically.
2. Enter “192.168.1.1” in the address bar. Press Enter.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to create a strong and secure password for your Linksys Velop Atlas Max 6E admin account.
4. Select your internet connection type (DHCP, Static IP, PPPoE) and enter the necessary credentials provided by your internet service provider (ISP).
5. Customize your network settings, including your WiFi network name (SSID) and password.
6. Check for and install any available firmware updates to ensure your Linksys Velop Atlas Max 6E is running at its best.
7. Place additional Linksys Velop Atlas Max 6E nodes throughout your home to extend WiFi coverage. Each node will automatically connect to the primary node, expanding your network seamlessly. 

Linksys Velop Atlas Max 6E Login

To access the Linksys Velop Atlas Max 6E admin panel, follow these steps: 

1. Ensure your computer or mobile device is connected to the Linksys Velop Atlas Max 6E WiFi network.
2. Enter “192.168.1.1” in the address bar. Press Enter.
3. Enter the admin password you created during the setup process. 

Linksys Velop Atlas Max 6E Factory Reset

If you encounter any issues with your Linksys Velop Atlas Max 6E Setup, a factory reset can restore it to its default settings. 

1. On the primary Linksys Velop Atlas Max 6E node, locate the small reset button recessed into a hole.
2. Using a straightened paperclip or similar tool, press and hold the reset button for five seconds. The LED light on the node will turn red.
3. Release the reset button. The node will reboot and return to factory default settings. 

Linksys Velop Atlas Max 6E Firmware Update 

There are two ways to check for firmware updates for your Linksys Velop Atlas Max 6E: 

Using the Linksys app: 

• Open the Linksys app and tap on the menu icon. 
• Then, tap on Network Administration. 
• Under Device Firmware, you will see the current firmware version for your Velop nodes.  

Using a web browser: 

• Open a web browser and type in the IP address of your Velop node. 
• The default IP address is 192.168.1.1.
•  Log in to your Velop node using your administrator credentials. 
• Then, click on Device Management. 
• Under Firmware Upgrade, you will see the current firmware version for your Velop node.
